Top 9 Funniest Workout Videos (Plus other stuff I wrote this week)

So #1 is… not funny. But the other 9 are hilarious! My fave is the somersault vid! (click thru to see video)

A huge thank-you to everyone who stopped by to give me their support yesterday! The Today Show interview went really well I think! (And I only changed my outfit 12 times. Kidding! No I’m not.)  I haven’t heard yet what day it’s supposed to air but they think it might be Monday? I’ll let you know when I do! The best part though was the kid I was so worried about picking his nose and eating it the whole time? Well he didn’t pick once! But instead he wore a gigantic zebra-print Snuggie – backwards – for the entire shoot. At one point it got tangled around a chair and he yelled (on camera) “Help I’m being strangled by my Snuggie!!” Second best highlight was Son #2 giving me a huge hug and exclaiming (on camera, of course) “Thanks for being so nice to us today! Not like you usually are!” I love kids.

  1. Congrats again on the interview! Glad to hear it went well.

Just a small request, maybe a triggering warning for the pictures on the thinspo and sayings articles? Should be obvious but sometimes I tend to mindlessly click links!

  2. The #2 video is from one of Leslie Sansone’s “Walk Away the Pounds” workouts that I used to do when I first started exercising about 9 years ago. It’s way too easy now, but it’s actually an excellent workout for beginners!

  3. Off-Topic: I think it’s funny that the related articles listed (for me) on the “10 Arguments Not Worth Having with Your Kids” article included, “Related: Oral Sex Techniques That Will Blow Him Away ” — how those are related I’m unsure…

anyways, I’m sure your Today Show thing went great… and if you could have predicted The Jonas Brothers’ formation and success when naming your child then I think you’d have a different book/blog…

  4. Yay! I’m glad the Today show went well! When it airs let us know! I’m in Canada and don’t have TV, but hopefully I’ll be able to find it on the internet.

P.S. the Snuggie incident sounds adorable!

  5. I was JUST wondering if any parents ever regretted their kids names! Can’t wait to click over.

  6. I had that Leslie Sansone workout. AND the Jane Fonda one.
A client once asked me if I had ever made a workout video. I now know that I could, and it wouldn’t be nearly as embarrassing as some of these, lol!

The boys’ on-air declarations are priceless!!!! Can’t wait to see the interview!

  7. Heya Charlotte!

I just finished SUCH an interesting book called “Leaving the Saints”. Thought it might appeal to you because of the topics covered, including things like, well…rape…history of the LDS church…feminism…ED’s…it was a fascinating memoir, and I know you’re a reader, so… :0)

    • That’s the Martha Beck one, yes? I’ve read it! I picked it up after I saw her interview on Oprah. Super interesting. Some of it I didn’t agree with her take but overall a fascinating read.
