Do you remember when Princess Di got married? (You know back before the whole fairytale fell apart into the sordid mess of eating disorders, spousal abuse, extra-marital affair, divorce and untimely death – Disney would be rolling in his grave but I bet the Grimm brothers are pretty proud!) Whether you were old enough to stay up late enough to watch it without needing parental permission or not even a wave of nausea in your mommy’s tummy, Princess Di left a beautiful and lasting legacy for all the rest of us princesses-with-a-lower-case-p.

Speaking of weddings, it’s hard enough to know what to say to your cousin’s wife’s niece – put “lovely” “beautiful” and “perfect” into a Mad Lib creator and you’ll be golden – but when the wedding is in another country things get even more complicated.
