  1. I managed it for about 2 weeks. It was okay, but I got tired of doing everything on the valislides. Also, I felt like it targeted a very limited muscle range (hello, glutes!) Then I went out of town for about a week and well, it fell apart.

I enjoyed the workouts; they were a nice change up from my regular running and lifting routine. The biggest drawback for my time-crunched self was that they take a long time. I can’t really squeeze in an extra hour of working out on top of my running most days of the week.

Still, I will keep this in my arsenal for those days when I need a change. I suppose if I had kept going I might have seen some physical changes, but over the 2 weeks, nada.

  2. I loved it. Like Gena I didn’t last the whole month, because doing it in addition to boot camp was too much for me. But it was a great workout and when I’m finished all my boot camp sessions I think I might go back to this workout and try doing it a couple times a week (when my muscles can handle it!).

  3. Did about 4 cycles – one of my own making using a mismash of her stuff and some other exercies. It was harder than I thought it would be and to save on time I did two rounds of everything v. three (they do take long, but it gets you working, so I suppose that is part of the point!).

I will also keep the workouts handy to change it up sometimes. I liked the “valslide” idea and will include some sliding stuff in my regular workouts. Like gena said, “hello glutes!” I could use a little of that.

  4. i didnt even think about doing it. atleast im honest.

    but that child is adorable.

i bet hes shaking that fist, too- which is even better.

  5. Sorry, I didn’t do it either…I’ve been so excited about my run/walk routine – and it’s going great! I even ran in a very light rain tonight – such a nice change from the 85+ degree days we’ve had lately!
